Lemongrass opened it’s doors for the first time in 2004 in Saint John’s historic Brodie Building on Princess Street. Over the next 5 years, the restaurant built a solid reputation for diverse and authentic thai fare, and steadily built up a loyal clientele.
In the summer of 2009, the decision was made to move the restaurant and it’s burgeoning pub, to the boardwalk of Market Square. With it’s unique and impressive patio, Lemongrass soon became the hotspot for locals and tourists alike to hit up when heading to Saint John’s waterfront. The patio gave the pub, (already the best kept secret in the city), the opportunity to really shine. Today, Lemongrass continues to offer the same authentic thai fare and intimate dining experience it became known for in it’s original incarnation, while firmly establishing itself as the premier small music venue in the city.
